Current Exhibit: Dauphin County in the New Deal Era
Take a tour of the Mansion in 2008 and you can see dozens of photographs showing the influence of New Deal programs on Dauphin County in the 1930's. Here workers widen Harrisburg's Third Street and replace brick sidewalks with concrete as part of a Works Progress Administration project.
Historic Harrisburg Association's Architectural Library at HSDC
HHA has placed their architectural library on long-term loan with HSDC. A wonderful resource for building and preservation enthusiasts, the library's online inventory of books, magazines, videos, and newspapers is available for browsing now.
